Roof Garden with innovative Aquafleece® irrigation - for Roofs with a Limited Load Bearing Capacity

This system build-up is used in case of a low load reserve and/or a low build-up height. It allows for visually appealing prestigious designs with lawn, perennials and even small shrubs by shaping substrate mounds (up to 400 mm). The system build-up is applicable on 0°-roofs and on roofs with a slight inclination of up to ca. 8°.

Sophisticated irrigation concept

Irrigation is carried out with special dripperlines. They are attached to the Aquafleece® AF 300 with a hook & loop tape at intervals of 500 mm and fed with the required amount of water via an automatic irrigation control unit. Due to the fact that Aquafleece® AF 300 distributes the water evenly and supplies it to the plants from below, the water consumption is relatively low.

The system solution shown relates to the green roof build-up in particular. The roof construction itself is only shown schematically and must be planned and executed according to specialist rules for waterproofed roofs.

* The lawn shall preferably be sown directly in a seedbed. Pre-cultivated lawn turf must necessarily be pre-grown on slightly humous sandy soil. Please note: With substrate depths < 200 mm, the lawn surface is expected to stay humid for a longer period of time, even in summer.
